YEARBOOK CLUB

We will do yearbook-related preparation and discuss upcoming events that need to be covered. During club meetings we will divide up jobs/events for yearbook staff to attend and photograph. You will have the opportunity to learn about and use DSLR cameras and to design yearbook pages online. Students will attend their assigned events to take photos, get quotes, and provide ideas for the yearbook pages. We want to capture as many wonderful CHMS memories as possible to make this year’s yearbook the best one yet!

Yearbook Club Sponsor: Mrs. Musa, CHMS Visual Arts Teacher
Time: 8:00 - 8:40 on Wednesdays, twice a month.
*You must have transportation to school at 8:00 in order to join art club.
Where: Mrs. Musa's art room
*Yearbook club has a limited about of spots available. We have 7 spots currently available for 7th and 8th grade students. If you are accepted in yearbook club, you will receive a yearbook club pass with the meeting dates. You MUST have your pass to get in the school early for our meeting.
*If you are interested in joining yearbook club, you may come to Mrs. Musa's room to get an application beginning Monday, August 7th. All applications are due Friday, August 11th.
The following is a list of criteria which must be met in order for a student to remain a yearbook club member:
Must be in 7th or 8th grade
Must not have disciplinary problems in school.
Must attend all club meetings and assigned school events or give 3 days notice if you cannot attend.
Must use yearbook/school supplies responsibly and return them in a timely manner.

If a student does not meet these expectations, they will receive a warning or probation letter. If behavior does not improve, they may be removed from the CHMS Yearbook Club.
